I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University. After completing my BA in Anthropology at the University of Chicago in 2010, I joined the National Institutes of Health Department of Bioethics as a Fellow from 2010-2012, serving on the hospital’s Ethics Consultation Team, and publishing conceptual work on research ethics. I continued my work in ethics at Harvard Divinity School, where I earned my masters.
At present, my research focuses on the problem of inherited inequality, with an ethnographic focus on South Asia.
